All y'all heading to Houston town tamale, ride real safe please. Have a great time - it's a camaradarie thang, ya know. Gonna miss y'all.

BTW, don't git too hung up on critiqueing the venue. I hope the new BMW dealership there will have a presence at the show, so's you can check 'em out. Oh yeah, and take a pass on the jewelry cleaner booth!! :bmw:

And ride safe on the way back Sunday too.

I went to the show last night with thewife and spoke to several of the rep taht were there. They all agree that attendance was light and that they were all dissapointed in the turnout. I never heard anything about it on the boob tube and wonder if they may have failed to properly advertise it.Those of us that look for venue such as this would find it, but I believe we may be the minority, not the majority.
I hope that they got enough response to return and try it next year, but if not I ride north again to attend. Any thing to get Lucretia out on the road, hehehe.
I enjoyed the show and got to see the 2006 LT. I like the new dash color, but did't see anything else new. I spoke to a couple of the rep about new additions in future years and they agreed with me that the addition of a navigation system like the Wing has picked would be nice. Oh, as a side note, the wing doesn't sit as nice as the LT. You just can't hear it singing to ya' like the BMW does, IMHO.

I was there late this morning. More people were streaming in around noon. Overall, I can't say as I was real impressed. The free MC parking was a nice touch though. I hadn't been to these type shows before, but would have liked more vendors. I spoke to the Autocom and Baehr reps, would like to have seen Garmin, Olin and Weber, to name a few.

On the bright side, it gave me an excuse to cruise to Houston last night, see Mom, got me off her "list" for not having seen her in so long! When's the next show or rally in/near Houston?!?!? http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/icons/icon6.gif

I had a great time, the show was fantastic and the scene in the elevator with Edgar was priceless!

I am jealous that Muns is now Richard's bitch.

Was just about a perfect weekend ride. Good to see both new and old faces. Enjoyed the show. The ride out from Austin was 'spirited' until we hit rush-hour traffic coming into Houston. The hotel treated us very well letting us park all the bikes right up front by the doors :). Even the weather was perfect.

Munson was a good sport about riding, bi^H^H, pillion :). I'm sure that would have made a great picture. Also got to chat w/ 3 of the CCR vendors: Marilyn, Aaron, and Mansoor who will all be in Georgia next year. I think we had around 14-15 folks for dinner Saturday night.

Got home just in time to get some painting done then enjoy a thrilling loss by the Redskins :) - and to top it off the Giants lost. Now, if the Cowboys can just take care of bidness tonight.

We need to do an overnighter again.

It was good to see everyone even with our other obligations. Although we didn't actually eat the food (due to our previous feasting!) I thought the downtown place was good. Not like taking over the pub in Dallas but a good selection of foods and folks. Thanks Paul for your direction on that.
