I dunno, looks like GS territory to me. :D
And if you're that scared, then it might be stupid for you to try it, but that doesn't means it's stupid for someone else. We each have to balance our own risk/reward quotient and find challenges that work for us. Letting someone else set those limits for you is stupid.
And remember, the majority of folks think that riding a motorcycle is just stupid. ;)

Maybe, but not that STUPID. Was he wearing his slimpack riding up to his base jump launch site :-)

Notice that the first rider (let's call him Cliff:histerica ) is looking where he wants to go, and not at the edge (target fixation).
You can tell he has done this before and he is doing it well. He knows he is only allowed 1 last mistake...!

Maybe, but not that STUPID.Yep, that stupid. They simply smile at you in a "what an idiot" manner, usually they tell you about their brother/cousin/friend who was killed on a motorcycle, or suffered brain damage, or lost a limb. Sometimes they just steer way clear of you altogether. Ever heard the term "Donorcycle"?
Again, everyone has different levels of risk tolerance, and different ideas of adventure. The problems start when one group tries to force their opinions on the rest.
But then again, what do I know? I actually want to go ride on the Bolivian "Death Road". Sounds like fun. :)

I'd never do that...On a bike without a motor :D . That looks like a lot of pedaling, I'm wore out just seeing it, need a nap or a ride.

I mountain bike a lot. This photo and others like it made the rounds a few months back on some m-bike web groups.
They are very nice examples of what folks can do with PHOTOSHOP.
Therefore they are righteously bogus dudes. However, there certainly would be takers if that cliff band did exisit!
Sorry guys!
