XM radio in 2820 question

Is there any way to turn off the XM radio and just use the GPS. Are there any adjustments for sound quality coming out of the XM part in the 2820? Is there any way to turn to another station without have to go back to the setup screen? The more I use this XM part of the 2820 the less I like it so hopefully there are some ways to get around this. Thanks.

When you've got XM radio playing and your looking at the map, there's an icon that has music notes on it, (lower right). Hit that and hit mute to turn off the XM audio. That screen also has pre-sets to change the channel. Hit the Map button on the right and you're back to the map.
