Coming from a Road King, things were a bit different on the LT.

First of all that wind protection and great suspension; A trip computer, wow. Then those heated grips and seat, are you kidding me? A windshield that moves at the push of a button, woo hoo! Then came XM and speakers built into my helmet; bike to bike communication and I can talk on my phone!! :eek:

Today the transformation process was complete. I combined the two pieces of equipment that are the most complimentary to any other. The flip helmet and the BMW cup holder. Yes, coffee on the road this morning.

Twas thinking about that last night.. I have a 12v Mug... Need a cup holder though.

I have a 12v hot / cold cooler... I need to make a hot / cold trunk liner

Cigar hym-n-haw ;)

Oh, and I have to say... my best was 1400 mi in two days, This was on a road king, 05 with cruise... enjoyed it.
