For those going to Myrtle Beach and may not be familar with getting around which with the traffice and how spread out things are can be tough.

The terrain is the ocean to the east then moving west is Myrtle Beach, US 17 Business, US 17 Bypass, then the intracoastal waterway then SC HWY 31.

31 is an interstate that runs some 28 miles from Surfside near Murels Inlet to the south to SC 9 south to US 17 north at Little River just north of North Myrtle Beach. It can save you lots of time moving up and down the coast. Coming from the North at Little River take 9 north to 31 south. Coming from the south take 701 (This is close to Murels Inlet) west to 544 west cross the Intracoastal canal then 31 north or go about 5 miles North of SUCK BANG AND BLOW on 17 and west on 544 toward Conway cross the canal and then 31 north. It has exists at International Blvd, Hiway 22 (Bass Pro Shops) and others. It can save you lots of time going or coming from N MB or Calabash, NC which is North of Little River off 17

Good places to eat are Billy the Kid (steaks and Seafood)at 9 and 17 in Little River, T Bones at Murels Inlet (17 bypass), The Island Cafe & Deli at Pawleys Island (on 17 across from the Hammock Shops). And lots more in between.

Am leaving on a trip but if I get time and think of more I will post it. There will be plenty of police so drive slow.
