I had the top case off the LT for the first time yesterday, but as I disconnected the two barrel connectors, I was wondering: Does removing the top case -- and its associated wiring harness -- result in loss of audio from a Baehr intercom?

Given a choice between riding with the advantages of not hauling the top case or losing the intercom/audio, I'll take the intercom.

Howard, I don't know about the Baehr system, butt ole Toad has the AutoCom unit and the trunk is removed. We just lose the rear speakers, that's all. Matter of fact, I then fade the radio from the front speakers (which still work) to the rear speaker setting, which keeps my helmet speakers working, butt keeps us from serenading the populace at the stop lights!!

+1 on just losing the rear speakers.
