Stebel install on an LT

Just finished reading about "Randy's" (from Aurora CO) install of the Stebel Air Horn on his K-GT. Was very surprised to see that he installed it horizontaly, instead of vertically as described as a "must" in the factory directions (well, within 15 degrees of vertical).

Anybody else have it mounted on the LT....and where did you hang it?

A bunch of my Harley Buddies are getting this horn now and they are seperating the compressior from the horn and mounting it on it's side under the seat, then mounting the horn in the factory location. I am not sure what the reason for keeping it verticle is other than the air intake or something, but it is working fine with the HD group.

Jim (EzyMount) was planning on designing a bracket for horn mounting on an LT. Told him he could borrow my LT for his project. Dunno if this is still a plan. . .
