Hey guys,
Is the OEM BMW LT "Srotm cover" worth the 150$+ price tag or am I paying too much only for the logo...?
I need a good cover ,since I don't have a garage to park my new toy.
TIA :bmw:

WalMart, about $20. Quite a few of us have these are are generally pleased. If it doesn't work the way you need it to, they'll take it back and you can then try a more expensive one. :)

For at-home use, yes, the BMW cover is excellent. Is it worth the $, maybe, depending on your financial situation.

I paid the extra bucks for a Geza because it breathes. If you are going to leave your bike covered for more than a day or so, you have to have something that will allow air to pass thru, otherwise it will cause almost instant rust, even in a garage. In addition, the Geza packs down to about half the size of a loaf of bread.

I have a BMW Cover that I use to store the bike for the winter. I use a Geza for trips because it is compact and light. The BMW cover is to big and bulky for travel but will protect the bike better from weather and prying eyes..

If your gonna park your bike outside, do like Fast Fred.
He parks his HD dresser outside in a high crime area while at work.
Uses a cover to keep weather off it, and the logo prevents theft, Honda Goldwing :D (it is also a good breathable cover.)
I have 2 Dowco covers, they work very well.
My local bike K75 is outside year round, covered with it, however I do have a little platform that I made from a sheet of plywood and two pallets on a piece of visqueen, that I park it on, keeps ground moisture out. The air moves through the pallets under the plywood so it gets dried out very quickly.
