Looking for textile riding pants for summer.
I checked through the Iron Pony website but...
Can anybody recommend something for my wife that is not in black?
All the bloody pants are black, terrible color for in the sun. :(

Have you stopped in at BMW MOC and checked out the Olympia gear? They have gear in light colors...and specially fitted for ladies as well.

Try the Darien Light from Aerostich. However, black isn't as hot as you'd think it would be - I have the BMW Venting Machine pants and my son has Olympia - both have mesh which obviously vent really well.

BMW Summer Pants are available in black or tan. And the legs zip off, leaving you with a pair of BMW shorts.
And Aerostich's Darien pants are available in hi-viz, gray, or black.

I bought a pair of slate gray for that reason but the one that I bought is not available this year. The pant I bought was European Unisex size. If she wants overpant style Rev'it (http://www.revit.eu/) has a light gray.. It is not directly viewable on the website but look in the on-line catalog. The textile pant is called 'Fuse'. Don't know if this will do. I requested a price list this year from the website and those pants are not in the 'USA' price list. My pants were not on the USA price list either when I bought them. I had the dealer import the pants for me and I waited about 6 weeks. The size charts were excellent. My only criticism of my pants is that I should have bought a longer inseam. They fit perfect standing and walking but would like them with a longer inseam for sitting on the LT.
Rev'it is really good stuff. I little bit more expensive than FirstGear but less than BMW.. very good quality. Lots of good reviews on webBikeWorld (http://www.webbikeworld.com/)
