My wife and I are planning a N.S. to B.C. and back trip leaving N.S. on June 1. We are planning to take about 2 months to do it. We will be doing some foot dragging along the way. Can't help you with the straight through travel time. But, if you are crossing about the same time and you see a Blue '05 LT riding two up in the west bound lane wave as you go by.
All the best and have fun

Esther and I did the Toronto - Victoria and back in about 10 days of riding in 2005. The next weekend after the trip we went to Atlantic Ocean north of Boston.

Paul Mondor rode a BMW F650 from Victoria BC to St. John's NL in 3 weeks. In January. You can read more about it here (http://www.spokespeak.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=180&Itemid=1) and here (http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109911).

Guy at the Ducati booth at the Toronto MC show this past december claimed he rode the Multistrada from Vancouver to Halifax in something like 56 hours.
He apparently is a previous winner of the iron butt. Looked lgit to me and the bike was there all outfitted.
I still can't beleive it as I rode last September from Hamilton to Halifax in 18 hrs with an overnight in Montreal.
The Ducati man says he basically doesn't sleep.
Maybe it's possible if you go through the states rather than across the praries and around Superior.
Still seems awfully fast for that distance.

The range here seems to be between 56 hours and two months. The nine day estimate seems like about my speed. Thanks for the advice. Ron

That would be Gary Eagan (http://www.onewest.net/~ckirk/Bikes/STowners/Eagan/eagan.htm). You can believe what he tells you. But I wouldn't attempt to repeat half of what he's accomplished.
