No hard top, it does have the full soft top. Just another one of those mid life things like starting a new job half way around the world at 51 years old after 31 years at the present job.

I have a '97 TJ. It's a blast to drive...except when it's raining. Hydroplanes worse than anything I've ever owned. Maybe it's those 33" tires......
