I have seen comments on this site that the screws offered on ebay are of poor quality. I find the stock BMW ones seem to wear out after a few in and outs. Where do you find good quality replacement screws and clips. My dealer has none in stock.

Buy a metric tap and chase the nut holes with it, you'll have no problem with the stockers even after a hundred times in/out. I can't remember the exact size but it is common, bought mine at Ace. Pretty sure they put some sort of locking compound on them from the factory and that is causing the problem.

You might try "quality fasteners" in Bessemer City, 704-865-8562, or 1-800-222-5378, you would have to take a screw down there, and they should be able to match something up. I have bought screws from them before for my bike.

Get a hold of our guy, Raffy. He sells a nice kit, very high quality, as is everything he sells.
