Anyone here ever modified a Dauntless Hitch to allow the towing of a UniGo as well as a standard Ball Socket equipped trailer?
Any advise on point would be appreciated.

"When you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered Dragon, remember, you do not have to outrun the Dragon, you just have to outrun the halfling."
I don't think this answers your question Dave, but it is about time to replace your signature with something a bit more catchy, no? :)

Dave
How about just getting another bottom half of the hitch for each application and swapping them out as needed.

That makes too much sense and completely evaded me :)
Guess I need to call Dauntless, Thanks

Dave I have made a Unigo adapter for my Dauntless. Basically I took a 1/4" plate shaped it, drilled a couple of holes to line up with the hitch. When to Lowes (I'm a Jimmy Johnson fan) got a couple of long 1/2" bolts, 4 1" PVC coupler, 2 1/2"/1/4" cast pipe reducers. Makes a sturdy adapter. I have list these sizes off to the top of my head, so I will check them and shoot a couple of pictures if you like. Also Dauntless makes an adapter for (?) 100 buck. Then I needed mine they didn't have one in stock and I couldn't wait.

and that reminds me of a couple of quotes:

I called Dauntless and they are shipping me the UniGo Adapter for the hitch system.
$125.00, not too bad I guess.
