Noise ???

I finally put about 360mi on my K1200LT Sunday with a ride to Beckley , WV
it was awesome. The comfort , power , and speed is great but wind coverage OK could be better. My question is the weird noise that occurs during high speed cornering its like a howling noise. Is it from the air cutting across the fairings or the side of my tires on the road while leaning? I have Metzler ME880 Marathons front and rear. HAs anyone used or using a ZTechnik VStream shield on their bike?Heres an addy if you want to check it out -http://www.ztechnik.com/products/index.html. I am thinking of maybe trying it out.....

Everyone else answered you noise question, so I will go the the second.

I have the Z-Technik windshield. It is clearer and made by the same folks that make the newer BMW factory windshields. I'm 6' and can see over it with no problems. I raise it about an inch off the stops and I can still see over it and it takes the buffeting and noise off my helmet. I have to raise it to where I'm just looking through it to make my pillion happy. I'm happy with it so far.

I have the Z-Technik windshield, the best shield for me. Alot better to look through than the C B I had before. Less wind noise than the C B & the stock. I run with it all the way down 95% of the time, so for me I would like to see it 1" or 2" shorter.

Thanks for the info guys I will probably invest in a Shield(ZTechnik) in the near future.
