There will be a mini tech session at my place this Saturday. Patty and the kids are away for the weekend.
I figure we start at 10 am. Allows us to have breakfast with RCB, then a short visit to A&S and back to my place.
There will be no minor or major services done since we won't have time for them.
As far as I know, the following is on the plate
Alvaro - Valentine 1 and Soundgate install
Roger - Valentine 1 and Baehr Verso XL install
Hal - Lights , fuse block and Baehr Solo install
Doug - Baehr Verso XL install - if he has no honey dos
Raffy - Lights, fuse block and Baehr Verso XL install
There is enough room for all the above bikes. Two in the garage, two under the carport and one outside under a pop up tent if necessary.
Bring your tools. Spectators welcome. Just let me know so i can have enough refreshments etc.

Hal had a moment with a gas line fitting that created steam but no explosion!! HID install.
Roger kept threating to throw-up ???? Radar/tunes/com.
Alvaro replaced damaged wing tips and worked on tunes (What happened to my allen wrenches???).
John quitely worked on his LT in the background on GPS, I think.
Jim stopped in for ride to / hot dog at Motowheels for lunch.
I (Raffy) routed lines for Baher com on my GS.
J Flowers came by to pull group back together and worked/advised on most all of the projects (thanks John).
Raffy helped all and got zero of his own stuff done but did get to ride his Duc with myself, Jim and John to Motowheels for lunch and fashion show.
Great day that went by tooooo fast.

Thanks everyone. Specially for the Pizza.
Here is what I did after you guys left. First I moved the truck back to its normal spot. Then I went inside and opened a bottle of beer (Newcastle). Went back in the garage and pulled up a chair and set my feet on the gS crash bar. Petted the dogs and finished the beer. Had a cold slice of pizza.
Turned on the radio in the garage. Installed the fuse block
and then wired up the Micro DE HIDs. Cut the end of one of the extra
Motolight switches that I had and ran a wire from the relay to one wire
of the switch and from the parking lamp to the other wire on the switch.
The Micro DE HIDs are slaved to the parking lamp. The switch allows me
to run the Micro DE HIDs either with low beam or with low beam and high
beam.
Walked back in the house at 9:15 pm and had an iced tea.
PS: Doug, it's a lot easier to pull the parking lamp light with the headlight housing loose. You will need a piggy back connector female to two male. No need for scotch locks or splices.

Raffy,
Thanks for hosting us today. I got my Hella FF50 lamps and my Garmin 2610 installed. If I didn't have to leave early to make it home for dinner with friends tonight I would have gotten the fuse block, Beahr comm, and Gerbings installed also. Oh well, no biggie, those I can handle. :D
And yes, plenty of gas flows when you manage to snap a quick disconnect fitting in two... Doug, I appreciate your looking for a lighter to help me find the gas leak. :D
Roger, thanks for splitting the pizzas cost.
John F, again, thanks for all your help! :D
Still a fun day.

Thanks for the Pizza guys!
After a long morning at A&S specing out my front wheel and rotors, they replaced the rotors. A&S went out of there way under warrenty to try and fix this rotor problem, this is the second replacement set for me is 16,000 miles. Jeff H even lent me his Mustang to go get my new Anakees since they had the Rims off anyway.
Anyway the shuddering brakes are smooth again and I have new rubber. - Thanks to the Great Service Department at A&S!
Finally made it to Raffy's at 1:30 PM and helped eat the Pizza and did as little help as I could get away with on the bikes. Electrical work is very frustrating!

Thanks from me, too. I hard wired in my 2730 through the map light, and was able to provide some words of wisdom to the guys that were actually there to get some upgrades done. Almost got lost trying to drive 15 minutes for a free hot dog, when all I had to do was simply stay at Raffy's and pitch in for the pizza. Oh well. Was a good day for the weather, and to check out the new Garmin in other than commute traffic.
Good to see ya'll and get in your way!
