DA sticker placement???

OK fellow DA's.

It's finally getting warm enough ouyside here in NW MO to put my DA sticker on my LT. Where are most of you guys putting it? Left front ahead of the air wing looks like a good place. Any thoughts? I'd like to have it in a common place while attending Tan-Tar-A in august.

I'm pretty sure I'll put the "if you can read this" sticker on the bottom of my left saddle bag.

Visited the Osage, MO area the first of last week. WOW, there is some nice riding twistyies nearby. Curves marked as 35 MPH taken at 55 MPH is a heavenly ride. YeeHaa!!!!!! Most of the roads in my part of MO are straight and up and down. No good curves to negotiate.

I need DA stickers for my GT!

Hey Dave, I rode to the tower this morning! Love that little BMW snow flake flashing warning thingy. Does that mean get off the bike dumbass! During the ride along the Lake Shore Expressway the temp rose from 33 to 39, so I gues I made the right decision to ignore the snowflake.

Droppers Anonymous? Our pals in Canada wouldn't drop their bikes! I was up there in Niagara Falls with SO last summer breaking in the GT and I think I saw ice still going over the falls....:rotf: A bunch of HOG riders in the hotel lot were sure asking a lot of questions about the GT. You should have seen their faces when SO and I popped off the bags and walked into the lobby.

(I fronted cash...and lost money... to have D.A. --"Droppers Anonymous"--stickers and pins made about six months ago, some thought it was a great idea, many have them, and some chose to question whether my parents were blood relatives, whether my first brain surgery actually WAS successful, or my favorite, "why would anyone put a dumb ass sticker on their motorcycle" which led to the post Tony shared above, and the unofficial secondary D.A. meaning..."Dumb Ass." However, I sent one to my riding mentor and longtime friend Dick Rothermel who is physically INCAPABLE of ever dropping a motorcycle--yes, he's THAT good--who hit a deer two years ago that left him hospitalized and the right side of his LT upholstered with gen-u-ine deerskin, telling him that HIS means "Deer Assassin.")

That explanation will be a dollar, check made out to your favorite charity please.

DA= Followed a friends GS down a very sandy road, dropped twice.
DA= Parking lot Cheoah Dam NC started off in 3rd gear trying to make Uturn
DA= Credit Union Parking Lot
DA= Home in garage just foolin' around (Does this mean I'm An Ace)

Forgot to put my side stand down tryin to act all cool and stuff. Luckily no one saw. I actually put mine on my Tahoe. Thought it would be funny if driving around one day some DA'r came up, just laughed and pointed.. Pin is on my mesh gear.
