I have a 2002LT and I am just fed up with how bad the rear brake works (yeah I have gone back and forth from oem to EBC pads w/ no better results). Does anyone (or BMW) make a nice drilled disc replacemt? If so, has anyone done the conversion and how did it work? Did you get more even braking w/o all the chatter and noise?

I have replaced the oem rotor with EBC's and I love it. Works well, no noise and no bell ringing, since the change, the brakes work very well.

I echo Gill's comments.
I replaced rear disc with the EBC replacement and installed the EBC HH pads. Never looked back, ain't been disappointed at all.
Actual install was a snap. Only 'tricky' part is the heating of the ABS ring - just be careful, take your time, even gradual heat - hair dryer, heat gun or similar is plenty - it's easy to do. It was my first time ever trying to heat fit any part to anything. Total job time was about 90 minutes. Not bad for a first timer shade tree.

What prob;em do you have with it?
I am on my 2nd disk due to warping, but apart from that I am very happy with my '99 disk? Stops the bike anyhow!

The EBC rotor fixed my noise situation, but I did not like the HH pads with the new rotor.
I think the standard pads and the new rotor make a better combo - at least for me they do.
