I didn't care that salt dust still coated the roads, I WANTED TO RIDE MY LT!!!!
Temps went almost near 60 and it was time. Can't believe how much I missed that addictive "brick" and the sportiness of that LT chassis.
One posts all winter long waiting for the day you can rev it back up. ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM!!!!!! :)

I finally got out for more than a trip to work yesterday. Daughter & I went for a 70 mile, 2 hr trip thru some nice mountain roads. That is the first "real" ride I've made where I didn't feel like I was still recovering from the accident last year. Nothing was aching and I was able to flow with the ride. I did feel like I should have been faster, and maybe wanted to be, but then again, daughter, bike, and me got home in one piece. I think the faster part is me recognizing my own limitations even though I might want to go faster. Maturity? Yuck.
the LT is so SMOOOOOOTH!
But yes, it's that time of year and folks will be getting their bikes out more and more. Our weather this week is forecasting afternoon temps of 68-73 all week. Yippeeee!!!
Zoom Zoom, all right!

Have to admit I did cheat a little. Hopped on the 6 lane interstate and opened the beast up to about 100mph just for a few seconds. Note: I would only do this if I was riding solo or had the mother-in-law on back.

I do not think I would doit with my mother in Law in the back either due to liking my ribs the way they are. I would send her alone :histerica
I went for a ride yesterday after the heat wave we had all the way to 42 :rotf: It was Grate!!!

I was thinking it would be a good way to scare her into early mortality or maybe she'd simply forget to hold on. Woooops!!!! ;)

Although, we mainly went for the race (Daytona 200), I think we both counted around 2 dozen LT's in and around Daytona.....we had a great time !

One good spring rain to wash away the pebbles and salt dust and I'm ready for the open road. All I need is sun. Maybe the m.i.l will stay in FLA and all will be peaceful this spring. :histerica
