Just wondering if there are any special tools required to do the 24K service. Is there anything special with bleeding the brakes? Bike is an 04 K1200LT

The best tool I can recommend for a 24K is patience. Don't be in a hurry, as some of it is a pain to do, but most of it is pretty straight forward.

Other tools:

Strap wrench for getting access to the fuel filter. Either get new worm drive clamps or be careful with tweaking the filter clamps to get the old filter out.
Feeler gauges for the valve adjustment.
Torque wrench.
Plastic syringe for drawing off old brake fluid.

For doing the brake bleed, have someone else assist you, as the servos can drain a reservoir very quickly. The special tool for this one is a rubber stopper around a tall funnel to help keep the reservoirs full in the rear.

For the handlebar reservior, open it up, draw off the old fluid, then take a clean razor blade and place it in the reservior over the little hole. This will keep the fluid from spraying all over your bike when you pull the lever.

There is a special tool for getting to two of the servo bleeders. Its a 7mm box end wrench with the box end bent at a 90 degree angle and a 4 point socket brazed to the end. Not really needed. What I found that worked was the Kobalt sockets from Lowes that have the hole through the center of the ratchet, extension, and socket.

The clutch bleed requires a bleeder valve. Someone gave me the part number here on the forum for the bleeder that fits it. Again, use the razor blade to prevent the fluid spray and get a second set of hands to assist with the bleeding process.
