Modify pre ’05 seat question.

Hi All,

I know that some place, on this site, are pictures and instructions showing how to modify a pre ’05 seat to fit an ’05. I sure would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to find them.

I realise this does not answer your question, but if you use the high setting there is no mod. If you use the low setting, borrow your pillions least favorite lipstick color and coat the upper edge of the under seat tupperware and lower the pre 05 seat down until it touches the plastic. Now you can see what needs to be trimmed from the seat pan. Remember this ONLY works if you use her LEAST favorite color.

No need to modify it, just install it. I had a 03 seat on my 05 LT when I sent mine off to Russell for cvustomizing... Way nicer and wider than the stock 05 seat.

Hi John,
Thanks for the "lipstick" idea, i'll give it a try. I'm told i don't need to open the plastic to find the heated seat wire connection; just cut the wire and use wire connectors. Thanks again.
