Folks, as we approach sold out status, we realize that some who've paid won't be able to attend.
In the past, El Jeffe has handled and helped with the sale and swapping of registration. Due to his work load, and the fact that he was just released, I'm afraid that he won't be able to handle these leetle chores no mo, no mo, no mo, no mo.
If you have to sell your registration, the person buying it will have to prove at the registration desk at CCR that they've bought your registration. This will also mean a written name tag(s) and not the fancy, gold plated, etched jobs.
Sorry about this, but as an entirely volunteer organizaton, we have to maintain our sanity where ever we're able.
Oh yeah, HURRRY! We're down to less than 125 spots, and when the ad hits BMWMOA, they go toot sweet.

Joseph, I'm shocked - would one have ones servants produce them any other way ?I've been to 3 CCRs . . . a hand-written name tag every year. It's the only way to fly. :D
Here's mine from last year:

pic 1: I thought hand-written name tags at CCR were a sign of distinction!
pic 2: Some name tags can also earn you a top spot on the Ignore List. :D

Well, Howard, while I wasn't trying to be derogatory or gauche, I was trying to make a point, Obleo. And, I see you have embodied the spirit of CCR and have turned it into a fun thang. For shame!
Have you ever gotten into an elevator with me?

For shame!Hmmmm.... did I miss something? I don't think you were either of those things. If I was, you gotta tell me about it. Not sure what you're getting at here...Have you ever gotten into an elevator with me?No, I haven't. I have heard some kind of elevator "incident" mentioned many, many times here. It's some kind of inside joke for you early CCR adopters; maybe someday you'll share the story? :)

I think tatooing the registration number across your forehead should suffice. :)

It's some kind of inside joke for you early CCR adopters; maybe someday you'll share the story? :)That's easy, Howard. Just get on an elevator with grif and he'll explain it to you, up close and personal like. Or better yet, see if you can wrangle Joe onto that same elevator, or maybe even add Rixchard for that little bit extra. Just let us know when, as most of us old-timers are likely to be out riding that day, far from any sort of vertical transportation devices. :)
Just don't ask about the Gondola, or the dreaded thong.
Um, now what was the original thread about?

Hello,,
First time CCR...my boyfriend & I (Dennis Raymond) hail from St. Petersburg, FL,,,we CAN'T Wait to come to this event.
I am fairly smart on a computer,,,I might be able to help you all with the 'handwritten name badges"
Name tags can be printed off the computer,,,fairly easy,,,onto card stock that fits into a name badge holder that goes around the neck,,,,
Is there a budget for hanging name tags & ink for a computer,,,if so I might be your computer GAL to help you..

Kewl! And thank you for volunteering Kim.
The name tags are printed by a computer. The problem is hauling a computer and printer to the event. Also, registration is one of the craziest places to be and there isn't a lot of time to do the work over again.
Being a first timer, registration will help you to meet more folks. Email Wild Bill, the registration chair billwescoe@gmpexpress.net

Hmm if everyone is to register ahead of time,,,then we have the names ahead of time,,,therefore the nametags could be printed in early Aug instead of printing them on the day people arrive,,,,,just a suggestion

They are printed early. Thusly, this leaves the problem when folks sell their registrations.
