Pic in CQ Install Article

Greetings all from Maypearl, TX! (between Dallas & Ft Worth, south)
My turn to swell some heads with compliments on this site. I've gotta say, this is the internet at its best. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful folks here. Didn't realize I was a member of a cult until I found this site. (My flavor of Kool-Aid is grape). :eek:

I've acquired the CQ HID and am ready to install. Trying to do the due diligence before I start hacking on the 2000 lt. The article by messenger13 seems to be pretty straightforward, but I can't tell because instead of the images attached I'm getting the red "x". No problem with the pics on the other articles, just this one!

Anyone else encountering this, or is it the water? I hope it ain't the water, cause I'm on a well!

Just don't forget to remove the plastic piece at the back of the bulb! I didn't know it slipped off and it cost me an hour. It has a slot in it so it just slips right off. Ron Ray

What a small world! I also live in Maypearl. Midway between the Pearl and Waxa on FM 66.... I ride a 2003 Impala Brown (gold) LT. We need to get to gether and ride sometime !

Hey, Rodney and Bryan --- glad to see y'all posting on the forums. Welcome.

Quick thread hi-jack --- next time the South Central bunch does the Hard 8 BBQ Brothel run over in Stephenville, you guyz should get together and make the ride over. Afterwards, we usually stop in at the Koffee Kup in Hico for some pie and coffee. Be a nice leetle outing for y'all. And several folks will come down from the Metroplex area, as well as maybe from the east of you and for sure, from down here around the Tejas Hill Country. We'll look forward to seeing you. Just keep an eye on the South Central forum.

That sounds great! Keep me informed and I will keep an eye out also. Several of the guys from work (fire dept) occasionally take a ride to the Hard 8, always a fun trip. I am up for BBQ anytime.... thanks for the invite.
