As posted we are 125 away from the normal attendance level of CCR, therefore with six months to go...a sell out again for sure.
Consider this: in April our open invitation to the readers of BMW ON (BMW Owners News) 35,000 plus readers...three times our forum membership...
As a reader and member of this forum, if you are thinking of attending CCR, please register for the Reunion. The Owners News magazine will reach most readers the first week in April.
The reunion is listed in the events pages of BMW ON and the RA OTL (On the Level) publications as well.

Actually, given the way our attendees are using the hotel, we're probably less than 75 away from selling out

I am thinking about going but do you realize just how hot it will be there in late August? When I lived in St. Louis we had a house on Lake of the Ozarks and it is a super lake. Great fun but it can (and likely will ) be 95-100 degrees with 80-90% humidity at that time of year.
The roads in the Missouri Ozarks are great but there will be tons of traffic around the lake and did I say it will be HOT and HUMID?

Now Georgia was hot and humid...I'm from Oklahoma and I could sure tell the difference..
Missouri should be better than Georgia was as far as the humidity...
Come on y'all sign her up before you can't.. This year is going to be one of the best, I can tell already...
Has anyone set up that screening of Wild Hogs yet ?

We hold CCR right after school starts and right before the holiday weekend to minimize crowds and traffic. I don't think you know what hot really is (try pissing off my wife).

I stopped at Tan-Tar-A on the way home from Georgia last year. The weather did not seem too bad to me (I am from the desert where we are not even sure how to spell humidity). I admit that my limited experience may not be representative but I enjoyed my visit and am looking forward to this year's reunion. I would urge all of you still thinking about attending to make plans to join us.

If you want hot try riding in Greece in July/August. 110 degrees F - in the shade. :sun: :sun: :sun: The only way to get out of the humidity is to jump in the sea...
It was consistently above 100 when we were in the Dordogne (France) last July, too. Seems like Tan-Tar-A will be a breeze...
