As any of you that use your fm modulator to connect the xm or sirius radios to your BMW com system, it's a pain to keep locating free frequencies to use as you travel. I am going to run a cable for now to use when I loose signal but that means taking off tupperware. I thought it would be a good idea if we contributed freq numbers for our home areas and that way we could build a log to use when traveling around the country.
My contribution: Greater Washington/ Baltimore area use 90.3

I have found this (http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/vacant) little program to be helpful to find an unused frequency, especially when traveling.

I have a portable Delphi system on my 2000 lt. It fits perfect in the compartment where the cassette deck is located. I use the cassette interface and have no problems, unlike the one in the car which I have to use the modulator on because of a lack of a cassette deck.
The one in the car picks up radio skip especially on tall bridges, the delphi with the cassette deck interface picks up none.

I have not taken the time to take off the tupperware and drill a hole to run the connector cable through, however, I have used the audio out on my Garmin 2730 and pluged into the Aux on the VoiceII and just left the stingray lid unlatched. This works fine except when you have it into Aux you do not have use of the handlebar controls for volume ect. You have to mute and control volume from the garmin.
I am going to do the right thing when I have it around someone that has experience with the tupperware. We have a tech day coming up in our area this month for K bikes and that will be soon enough for me.
My wifes BMW 540 TI does not have an aux so we have to use the FM modulator when we use it in her car. My car has XM from factory so we just plug the 2730 into cig lighter outlet and use the built in speaker for gps.
BTW, 90.3 also works in Richmond, Va area and all the way down I95 from DC to Richmond
