Pickin up the GT on Wednesday, although I have to wait to ride it....still loads of salt on the roads. What do you folks think...theyll store it for free until 1-APR at their place (heated, indoor) or do I bring it home in a covered trailer and stick it in the garage (unheated, indoor) and have it at my disposal? Either way, I absolutely cannot wait to ride this thing....

Stick it in a trailer and drive south till you see sunshine, ride the snot out of it, stick it in a trailer and take it back to the dealer for the first service. Repeat as needed.

Man, old Grif never fails to get a laugh out of me... :D

First of all, congrats on the bike purchase. That's the exact scoot that I'm leaning towards, color and all. I'm envious!!!!

I say bring it home so you can look at it whenever the mood strikes. Sorry for the cage reference, but I must have downed 100 cases of pop going out to the garage to simply look at a German turbo car that I bought not too many years ago. You need that new GT on your home turf!!!

Have fun - be safe!!!!

1-April?! Listen to Griff! Throw it in a trailer, get out of the snow, & ride the ass off it! We'll have 600,000 of our closest friends here in Daytona 'bout 3 days after you pick it up. Bring it down, enjoy Bike Week & a great ride.

Congrat's on the new addition to the stable. I say bring it home and heat that garage up! What's a few dollars in heat to have such a fine machine comfortably stored on your turf?! Hope it's a short cold season for you guys.

The problem is that they dont want me to ride my "trade" bike in to the shop for fear of salt. And yes, I do have some estrogen while theres salt on the road....I watched my 1st HD dissolve as a result of winter riding....never again.
