Looking for an alternative to BMW's $243 cdn battery for the LT. Does anyone know the equivalent model # for yuasa or other brand name?

One of the best batteries you can get for the LT is the Odyssey PC680, which is an AGM type, long lasting and holds charge over time like no other Lead Acid battery. No battery tender needed. Check around for that one. Westco also makes an AGM for the LT.

Agree. You can find them on Ebay for about $90.00, shipping included (not sure about the shipping to Canada).

The Yuasa USA site lists #51913 for the K1200 LT. It appears to be a wet cell type.

Thanks guys located an Odyssey dealer right here in Barrie, goes for $126 Cdn. so factoring in the exchange close to the same price as the US.

Great!

One thing you will have to do is bend the negative cable end to near straight instead of the right angle it is now. Other than that, it is a snap to install. It is a MUCH better battery than the stock BMW ones.
