WOW!
I purchased my wheels (2000 K1200LTC) from a private party last August and he could only find one key.
I bought a blank from ebay and took it to a full service hardware store with a fancy-dancy key / lock department. They cut a key and it appeared to be a duplicate.
Short story . . . it didn't work.
Back to ebay for two more blanks and a trip to two local dealers. Neither had the resources to cut keys
When digging into Bob's BMW site, I noticed a key cutting service.
I called and spoke with Don. He said they could cut the blanks, but would prefer to have my bike there if any adjustments were necessary. That would be a little tough this time of year from Ohio!
Bottom line . . .
Within a week and snail mail both ways, I now have three working keys for my bike.
Job well done!
