It's so hard to keep up with what's a good deal from day-to-day on the internet, but my knee-jerk answer is YES. But I would recommend that you consider buying their refurbed 2720 for $450 (http://www.edgegps.com/eCart/viewItem.html?idProduct=268). $175 more is well worth the new interface of the 27xx/28xx series. Food for thought. And you won't have to buy anymore Flash cards with the 2720 either, so the difference is actually less then $175.
