I admit to being a BMW greeny, but proud of it (wow, do I love this bike). I bought this used GT 4 months ago with about 4k miles. It has BMW Integrated ABS brakes (not the Brembo ABS II). I want to do my own servicing (to a point) so I bought a Clymer maintenance book. In it, I am advised that with integrated brakes, anytime the brake system is opened it needs to be serviced by the dealer. I take it that would include a fluid flush and bleed? Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Can I do it myself with the instructions in the Clymer book? It would suck to have to pay them the hundreds to do it, if I can help it and not destroy my bike.

Thanks for your help.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I have not taken the time to read through it all yet but have printed it and will complete the procedure in the coming weeks. This is invaluable (well, worth at least $400 by the dealership's standards).
