Does anyone know if the BMW Nav II cradle will work with a Garmin 2820?
Can I access the port for the GXM-30 antenna?
TIA

I am 99.999% sure that it will work. In fact, I know someone that upgraded from a NavII to a NavIII and don't recall them having any issues with the mount. Hopefully someone that 100% sure will chime in soon. :)

I bought a 2730 with the GPS 'puck' and it fits fine in the factory Nav II cradle except that the audio out jack on the left side of the GPS will inaccesible. Audio will be passed to your audio system via the cradle's wiring.
Also, the extra buttons on the left side of the cradle will not interact with a non-BMW branded Garmin. Just thought I'll mention.
The original Garmin motorcycle cradle kit ($45) can replace the OEM Nav II cradle and will allow access to the audio out jack on the GPS.

BMW cradle is incompatible with the Garmin units! Upgrading from Nav II to Nav III will work in the same cradle, though. The cradle requires adapted software.
