Got more Info.

2 nights camping at least one big meal Saturday, probably something good Friday night and morning munchies possible Saturday and Sunday. Cost last year was $10 for the weekend. RSVP to Jack Klaushie so that he has a pretty good idea of how much food to bring. Many people come up Friday, some come from Western Coffee Cup Saturday morning.

The Dirt ride is organized by Jim Cyran. You can contact him at: jimcyran@pacbell.net (jimcyran@pacbell.net)

I'll be in route to Red River and playing in the Utah/Arizona dirt. :DI'm thinking about heading out to the Round-Up as well, John.

Hmmm, should we take the K's and BLAZE a trail to Taos, or take the GS's and blaze a TRAIL to Taos

I know, decisions, dicisions.
Let us know soon - Dan and myself just got a two bedroom cabin at Red River but we could still probably change it to the big three bedroom suite.

Patience, it will be a great campout at a great location. Dualsport ride will probably go through Mendocino National Forest. More details will be posted in April and May Newsletters.

If you have a specific question ask. Thanks

I should have more info in a day or so.

You guys will have a blast on this ride! The campground is beautiful and the if Jim is leading a dirt ride it will be a great time. Sorry I'll miss out, still getting ready for Baja and taking Mama out on the river for her annual Mama's day boat ride.

I'm Packed and ready to ride!

Thats Amazing and Gravity Defying.
Wish I could follow you in the twisties just to see what happens.
Recommend repacking putting things into 3 piles;
1. Things you must have.
2. Things you would like to have.
3. Things you do not really need.
Then leave piles 2 & 3 home and enjoy the ride.

Have fun, Del and I have an appointment with Rick Mayer 8:00 am Saturday morning.

I'll be riding out with the RCB crew from the Western Coffee Pot at 9:30 Friday morning. Hope you can make that...Oh... it might be tough. The GS is at A&S and I'll be picking it up when they open at 9 on Friday. I'll try to load up and have us ready to go by 9:30 We might be able to meet or catch up to the convoy as they head out. We're only 10 minutes from the WCP.

We were thinking of taking 128 up to 20.

Any idea what route they have planned?

Why don't you pick up the bike Thursday night?I don't land until very late Thursday night, around 10:30 pm.

If I could get the GS over the house from A&S on Thursday, I could pack it up early on Friday......? ;)

Thanks for the images, guys. A good addition to the scrap book and helpful too.

When we got home I unpacked and cleaned up the GS so it looked like the day I brought it home. While I was doing that chore, Nancy went and picked up Gregory, her son, and I guess she was telling him about her "off-road adventure". He sort of gave that teenage, "sure Mom" with that ever so subtle note of disbelief. The images seem to change his tune a bit.

I should add that the image below was taken near the beginning of the journey and well before the 46 miles of deep ruts and mud puddles

It sure was a great time:)

I nominate Nancy for the "Pillion of the Year Award"

riding on the back of a GS off road is a special talent:D oh and Billy did pretty good too;)
