Most of the emphasis has been on converting the low beam. Is it worthwhile/advisable to do the hi beam as well?

Simply put.. I believe the high beam conversion is better than the low beam...

Mine is like a locomotive headlight... It really lights up the road ahead..

Good Luck

I am with John on this one. If I could ONLY have one HID...low or high....it would be the high beam. Fortunately they are not that expensive anymore and I don't have to make that choice.

I asked this same question a few weeks ago. If you do a search you will find several responses. My high beam just arrived yesterday so I can't speak first hand. Most of the members said the high beam put out A LOT of light. Some people liked that but some thought there was too much light and it limited when they could actually use them. The other issue is if you use the high beam HID they you can't flash your headlights any longer. I don't like flashing my lights anyway but I do like to see so I ordered both the low and high HID kit.

---after more than 16,000 Kms. Never tried the stock headlights at night, but the new HID's are brilliant, literally! Very happy with both Low and High beam, really light up the road with no issues regarding dead spots at all. Perfect night for a test ride too, very little traffic, almost a full moon, and still 30.5 degrees (Centigrade). Life is good.

Your profile says Iowa is where you ride...

When I rode through Iowa I thought it would be a great place for a high beam HID.. If you only rode in a populated area where you almost never used the high beam you might have a good reason to not have a high HID..
