HID and XM radio

I think that my dealer tapped the headlights for switched power for my XM radio. Will it be ok for my new HID kit or do I need for them to find another place to get power for the XM?

Your dealer probably tapped the parking light as a source of power, a common practice.
Other people choose to tap the map light to power electronics, including XM radio, GPS, radar detector, etc...
