I am about to strip down my 2003 LT for services, farkleling, and just wanting to see what is under there.

But I still want to be able to ride her to the dealer for the computer check and the things I don't want to do. Or just ride just to ride an ugly bike.

Is she ridable, and if so, is there a handling difference I should be aware?

Is she legal -- for instance will the mirrors go back on? I assume the blinkers will be dangling?

As long as you have the mirrors back on and the turn signals working WITH THE RIGHT COLOR I would think you are OK. You can tie the blinkers to the bike so they are visible, but you will need to change the bulbs and use amber ones.
It is a very ugly duckling with the tupperware off though...:v: :D

Take most of the screws out at home , then ride to your dealer and remove the rest outside your dealership and then remove plastics.
My dealer will knock off half an hours labour if i do this, saving about £27.00.
