Wow! That was quick. I reckon everyone talking about the great riding in the Ozarks and the killer resort finally made the winter bound folks take notice and sign up.
Thanks for playing and looking forward to seeing everyone there!
We're giving away a motorcycle!!

OK, while the above if not particularly true, if not a downright, bald faced, goat eating lie.... it will happen soon.
If you're thinking about going, jump off the fence and join us.

I'm guessing helmets. Though that makes no difference to me, as I wear mine every time I ride.
And to think we almost made it to February before starting the first helmet law thread. I forget, is it oil or tires next? :)

I forget, is it oil or tires next? :)I don't know or care about oil or tires - but I'm really concerned why my speedometer always tells me I am going faster than I really am. Won't this make my warranty expire early?

CCR WAS held in CO where helmets are optional. I did ride around in Aspen with just a ball cap, but the LT is the largest vehicle on the road in that small town (I did almost run over a Vespa LOL)
BTW that's the 1st and LAST time I'll ever do that. Just not worth it...

Not a stupid question, stupid would be not asking because you assumed you knew! :)
Choice If you wear a helmet or not.
While you may wear one at all times, that is your informed choice to do so, and I respect that. However it is not now, nor has it ever been the place for government to overstep their bounds, to ensure my safety.
So I try to not spend my money in their states, if every motorcyclist tried this, it would be a huge monetary impact (the only kind they understand) then they would change things and people would see. They don't care about you, all they care about is the money.
I know that it is a small action, but the action of 1 small wave at a time turns rock cliff into sandy beaches :D

RockRock;
Curve Cowboy Reunion, as an organization, is committed to rider education and safety as well as our support of this community and efforts to contribute to charitable causes. While Curve Cowboy Reunion as an organization is supportive of helmet use we do not make our selection of venues with any consideration of helmet law status. Our reunions: 2000 - Oklahoma - helmet not required for riders 18 and over
2001 - Arkansas - helmet not required for riders 21 and over
2002 - New Mexico - helmet not required for riders 18 and over
2003 - Tennessee - helmet use required
2004 - Colorado - helmet not required
2005 - Wyoming - helmet not required for riders 18 and over
2006 - Georgia - helmet use required
2007 - Missouri - helmet use requiredAs you can see we spread the reunion around. Sometimes there is a helmet law, sometimes there isn't.

I agree about the governments inability to try to protect us from ourselves. Let the people decide themselves as long as it does not harm the next guy.

I know that it is a small action, but the action of 1 small wave at a time turns rock cliff into sandy beaches :DIf that were true, then Sturgis would have been empty this past August, and Janklow would still be in jail. Nice theory, though.
How's that for a tangent. :D

Yes, we are giving away a motorcycle, the truth and the whole truth..... that will happen...you got my word on it.
But, I predict that the early sellout will happen as well....and then, when it sells out, suppose there where only four or five cancellations...the picknnns will be thin for sure.
Do a little planning and join us in the near middle of the USA, surrounded by a lake and the Ozark Mountains.
CCR....like no other rally!
