with the recent thread I figured it is about time to post this again

UM and disability Ins can be your best friends!

We are "generally" slow to recognize the "need" for specific coverages mentioned in the article.

Obviously this coverage is quite expensive.. because it's "needed" since so many don't have protection for others they may harm...

it is not as expensive as you think

add somewhere around 100 a year for stacked UM for say 100k of coverage if you do that on a few vehicles it gets cheaper (at least with state farm) and you can rack up several hundred thousand dollars of coverage pretty cheap

trust me you get hit by a minimum coverage driver and laid up you are going to wish you had better coverage

Our '06 R1200GS 100k stacked UM - full coverage insurance 500 deductible breaks down to $35.92 a month.

we have State farm ins, I told progressive and Gecko (<g>) to stop quoting me right at half way through our vehicles because they were already at State Farm price for all my vehicles, SF gives multi line on cars not motorcycles and they were still cheaper than the others for the coverage I need and want
