Newly released online video clips show another RT being removed on a forklift, and a light grey GT in the sand. Ebay will soon have plenty of parts listed, count on it.

Local papers showed at least 1 GT that was salvaged, and then fired up ?? Quite impressive. I think it's the best bit of advertising that BMW Motorradrad have ever had - after all, it's all covered by insurance.

Wooly, is that you wearing the hat ?.
I read in the paper today that 50 !!! bikes have been "recovered" .
As a Brit, what I would like to know is if the estimation of the english has gone up or down after this incident.

I heard from a source that Ken Meese's GT was in that lot and it will take an extra two weeks to arrive here and be pressure washed. The salt changed the molecular structure of the paint and now it looks like Mauve.

As a Scot I can safely say that it has not reduced my estimation of the English at all.

What good is it doing you stuck in a garage surrounded by ice? I can pick it up this weekend, if that works for you. :D

Simon
Does anyone like Gordon Brown? He is from the Kingdom of Fife so that maybe explains a lot. And as for that Tony Blair he went to Fettes in Edinburgh!
