Right you are Dick, I need to update you and the gang!
First off, Graham is PERFECT. :D He is all healed and happy; so needless to say that has made my life so much better. He is my support staff and loving companion. I just cannot get by without my guy...PERIOD.
I survived chemo! :v:
Yes, after five rounds they did a CT Scan and found (Drum roll please) NO CANCER! Indeed you guys have worked magic for me. (JUST LIKE WE SAID WE WOULD FROM THE FIRST POST)
The Surgeon General of the Navy AKA Don Arthur and his lovely wife Bean came out to Seattle and spent time with us and we had a blast.
On February 5th Graham and I fly to Washington, DC where Don and Bean will pick us up and take us to consult with the doctor who has done 1000 of the debulking surgeries. I'm sure that that will be interesting. We will then fly home and then On March 21st I fly back for the surgery. The surgery could last anywhere from 4 hours to 18 hours depending on what they find once they start. They call it MOAS (The Mother Of All Surgeries) I will be in the hospital for 2 weeks after the surgery. Once they release me, we will evaluate if I am ready to fly back to MY Washington, if not...Don and Bean have insisted that we stay with them until I am. How did I get so lucky to have such great friends?
So now, if you guys keep up the good mojo by lighting a candle, saying a prayer, lifting a tall cool one or just dancing in the street:dance: I will be cured and back to harassing you all mercilessly again and as usual.
LOVE TO YOU ALL!
Coni

Coni, I am SOOOO happy to hear good progress!! Been wondering how you and the chemist were getting along.
We will be pulling real hard for you in the "other" Washington. Guess that doctor will be under a little pressure? Like a fleet of missle cruisers off shore ready to pull the trigger? :rotf:

Coni,
I am glad to hear you are past the chemo and that Graham is doing so well. I keep thinking of you when I head out for a ride or when we are having a little get together. I know you would have wanted in on those times. Best of luck on your surgery and heal fast before the best of the riding season starts! I knew you could beat the cancer.

Wow what a message to make my day. We're keeping the candles lit here in South Carolina.
On another note, I finally got around to reading Graham's book, Stanislaw and what a great read. For those on the list who have not read it, you can get it through Amazon and I guarantee you will enjoy it, a great read of an actual adventure Graham had in his early years of practicing law.

Great to hear from you Coni! Especially with this kind of news for both yourself and Graham. The power of a great group of friends is not to be underestimated girl! Of course it certainly helps when some of those friends just happen to be leaders in the field of medicine to boot! That Admiral of ours is one of a kind isn't he? All of us in the "Family" here all are pulling for you Coni!
