HID High Beam on '99 LT

Considering the way the high beam light is mounted on the '99 LT, would it be worth my while to change the high beam to HID along with the Low beam? My concern is how it will function and look with the stock High beam shining dimmer than the HID Low beam. Opinions?

I found that the high-beam was still effective on my '02 LT even with the HID low-beam.

I could hardly notice when I turned my high beam on with my HID low beam on both my 99 and then my 03.

I now added the high beam and what I notice most is the 2-3 second delay for the high beam to come to a full bright. Then it is daylight!!!
I supplemented the high beam with a set of 1100x PIAAs to compensate for that delay and to broaden the field of light.
