I got one for xmas and it wouldnt turn on.. Well it would but you had to press the button about 200 times....Then it wouldn't turn off.. same-same...
It's in for RMA now.. It looked pretty cool but I sure wish it would have worked..
Hope you had better luck with yours...
Later..

Works great so far, to turn it on you have to press and hold the on/off/select button for more that two seconds and it's a pretty stiff button.

Yeah, Held it till my fingers got sore !
Don't know what the problem was with it... I screwed around with it for several days thinking I might be doing something wrong.. It was just bad....
I'm glad to hear that yours came in right away, They told me they were on back order and it might be awhile before I got my replacement..
Still patiently waiting....
And I'm itchin' for a new bike ass well....
I'm torn between an RT and a GT.. I dont' guess they're that far apart in price when new...:)
If I ever get my house sold and my shop built and my wedding over with then maybe I can go shopping at the dealer....Don't tell Lindy;)
Take Care David...
See you at CCR07

How big was the raw video file you recorded? The edited version was 32MB. Just wanted an idea of how much recording time you get on 2GB

I had recorded two videos
1st 17Min 08Sec = 574MB
2nd 10Min 47Sec = 363MB
Still had 30Min plus left on the chip at 640x480 30FPS

I was just reading on one of the forums that reviewed that camera. You can use the 4GB SD Card, but there are 2 things to be aware of.
1. You need the fastest sustained write rate card
2. Be careful because the 4GB card can get stuck in the slot (I guess it's thicker)

Nice low cost movie camera for all you action needs. What does "low cost" mean . . . exactly?! ;)
In other words, is THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/OREGON-SCI-WIRELESS-ATC-2000-AT18-HELMET-CAM-2-GB_W0QQitemZ230077785750) a good deal?

Just my opinion that $129.00 for what it does is a relatively low cost.

I guess it might be but the cam is 129.00. Depends on what you can get a 2 GB data card for..
