Well, its only been since May of this year but I finally received my Motorcycle Tourers Forum/Iron Butt Association 48+ certificate in today's mail. Starting in Maine and ending in Alaska ten days later after passing through all forty-eight states this is what you get for your efforts-a certificate suitable for framing stating the above. No headlines or TV coverage but a deep sense of satisfaction and a boat load of gratitude for all the volunteers who made this ride possible. Thanks for the memories...
