I ordered the low beam HID on the group buy for my 2000 K1200LT. I received a email back asking me to specify bulb type and color temperature. What do I order?

Don't mean to hijack, but I just received my order today :)

How do I know what color temperature bulb I received? I ordered the 5000K, but don't see anywhere on the invoice or on the bulb where color temp is listed

Grand Forks, NDI'm trying to find the previous post, but it's item #69 - 5000K H7 (at least this is correct for the '99 - '04 low beam.

That is the correct item for the low-beam for EVERY year LT. It's the high-beam kits that vary.

Bulb H7 color temp recommend 5000K (the lowest they have) Higher if you want more blue and less light.

I'd recommend the 4300K.........it's closer to the "white" end of the scale.

It was folded inside of the instructions, and clearly stated my order information. If you don't have this, you'll have to call them or go on faith. I'd be willing to bet you got the 5000K temp kit, unless you ordered otherwise.

I'd recommend the 4300K.........it's closer to the "white" end of the scale. The vendor that Grif setup the group discount with does not offer a 4300K lamp. 5000K is the lowest they offer. It's my second 5000K, and quite frankly I would go with the 5000K even if they had 4300K. It has just enough blue in it to add a bit of bling factor, without taking away any appreciable light output.

Hey Joe: What are those lights just under the headlight on the LT? Of all the lights on the LT how would you Judge them?

DONThose were my Walmart $19.95 specials...but they actually were more functional than I thought they would be. Although, I had them aimed closer than any of the other lights. They hit about 15' in front of the LT, and about 15' apart. They really lit up the edges of the road and they also allowed me to be seen by cagers in the lanes next to me. I'm not really sure how they would've performed if aimed further out. Sorry I can't help ya there.

I installed these while I had the nosecone removed and installing my first HID. Installing these without nosecone removal would not have been fun.
