Randy: Consider splitting out the city and state in the attendees table you post on the CCR forum. Some attendees are thinking of putting together "regional" villas at TTA, and having the attendee info broken down by state would make this easier. John has already started a thread for the TX/OK gang.
Thanks.
For Ohio/other Midwest attendees: if there is any interest in doing the same thing post a reply here and we'll work on it.

Feel free to cut & paste the attendee list into Excel and sorting it by state (you can use the comma as the delimter to split it out).

Speaking of regional villa's, I have personally reserved the Asshat Villa for my stay.

I think you'll need to 1) paste and save to Notepad or other text editor, 2) then open the saved text file with Excel using tab as the delimiter. Create a new column for State alone using a function like 'right'.

I'll be staying as far away from the MeeseLand regional villas as possible. Although, rumor has it that there are many of them cropping up everywhere! Avoidance may be all but a dream!

Randy: I can do an Excel RIGHT() function, but was just thinking you could split those 2 pieces of data (city & state) into 2 separate columns. If I end up doing multiple copy/pastes over time, it would be easier if they were separate columns. No biggie. Thanks anyway.

(* The kinder, gentler messenger13 steps away from his laptop...)I'll take that as a "Thanks, but I'm not interested."
John's doing it, so why can't we Midwesterners?

Thanks. You're right. I guess old habits die hard, and I find it easier to control the final format by importing.

John's doing it, so why can't we Midwesterners?I think that tends to be rather snobish. I'm going to meet and stay where ever, not just with the folks from my region. ;) :D

It's not like we're going to block off the street before you get to "Buckeye Land" or something. :D , and it's not like we all Midwesterners know each other anyway... Just a suggestion, and since no one responded it won't be happening anyway.

Avoidance may be all but a dream! :eek:Don't worry about it, Joe. MeeseLand will be the main Resort Complex. So maybe you can hide in a villa. Maybe. :)

Since this is a Stats suggestion thread, thought it might be good to have a revision date shown with the stats to see the last time it was updated. There may be a reason not to do this, but I can't think of one. If there is - nevermind. I'm easy.

It's really kind of funny, because this is first time in the 4 years I've watched the stats that anyone has asked for anything. I think it's really kind of silly myself. But then again, that's just me.

But then again, that's just me.Silly... to look at the stats, or silly to ask for a tweak to how they are reported, or something else? What I was looking for was a breakdown -- into 2 separate fields -- of city and state, for the purpose of sorting CCR attendees by state. No biggie.
