I would prefer to get the Garmin 276C. Do you think they would include that in the group buy?

Also: is there a downside to getting a refurbished unit? I know it's been discussed previously, and I know sometimes a "refurbished unit" is simply a returned unit. Full warranty?

I purchased a "refurbished" Garmin GPS from GPS Discount and it was perfect. Sealed in a box with new packing, and screen protector. If I didn't know it was a refurb, I would think it was new.

Just an update: the 2720 arrived very promptly. It works and looks like new.

As a matter of fact, everything is "factory packaged"; if not for the sticker and warranty flyer from Garmin one would not know the unit is refurbished.
