The tell is two-up percentage. 73%, the highest yet. And nearly a quarter of the attendees are riding bikes other than K1200LTs. Nice to see this event appealing to other models and makes!

Howard, Tan-Tar-A probably could handle more than the 600+ that we're set for. I doubt you will ever see it go much over that. Any bigger it would become unmanagable and I don't think as much fun. JMHO

Anyone care to venture a guess as to which year we break 1,000? :cool: There is an upper limit for this year. There are a number of factors that have to be taken into account. The rooms and banquet space are among the factors, but the most important thing is how soon people register. Our room block will accommodate the projected attendance of about the same as last year. We can increase the block if we fill up early, but if the hotel begins to sell to the general public before our group books rooms there may not be any rooms with which to increase our block. Therefore we will be able to accommodate around 600 in any event, but those who wait until the last minute will likely be unable to get a room. When the rooms are gone we will close registration. The management of the block and the cap number is in the very capable hands of your Chairman, Greg (grifscoots) Griffin.
We will not be able to accommodate 1000 this year or in 2008. Since this event is managed by volunteers, our current sanity threshold is well short of 1000 ;)
