'07 will be my first CC reunion, how many activities are going on during the day?
Or do most ride during the day and visit vendors in the evening/afternoon?

It's pretty much up to you in terms of what you want to do. Ride, hang out, go to the seminars, farklize your bike with the vendors, etc...
To give you a flavor of the activities, here is the schedule from the 2006 event:

It will be our first CCR as well and we want to go ride around and only attend (indoor or tent) events in the evening.
I am also terrified of hanging around the vendors booths...with my credit card on me!!!
We will ride approx. 4000 miles in about 9-10 days. Our other vacation will be in a Mexican resort, doing nothin' but getting toasted and roasted by the pool.;)

...I am also terrified of hanging around the vendors booths...with my credit card on me!!! Tell me about it. 2006 was my first CCR. I think I wore a path in between the vendor displays, and came close to wearing out my welcome. About anything you want to spend your $$ on will be available, from inexpensive helmet add-ons to lights, pegs, reflector conversion kits, tires, intercom, you name it. "Kid in a candy store" kind of describes it.
Good luck!
