I know the 2610 will fit in the factory mount but will the cradle buttons work and will the voice come into the factory intercom system like a nav II?

Thanks

Good news/Bad news. Sound will come in as normal with the NavII, but the cradle was built for BMW by Garmin and will only work with BMW badged units. Therefore, the extra buttons will not work with the 2610.

Not sure if I can be much help, but I just installed a 2610 onto my 03 with an autocom pro m1. THe 2610 motorcycle wiring harness has a 2.5 mm mono audio out on it, that plugs to the com or an earpiece. Not sure about the Nav II setup though.

There was a similar question posted on the Intercom forum a while ago, and another user there pointed out that different intercom systems will use require different connection from the 2610 (or Nav II for that matter). As mentioned by Randy you'll need to run a separate audio cable if you have Autocom installed on your bike. However, if your bike has Voice II, it is integrated differently and will not need separate audio cable. Audio will be fed through the main (power) cable like it does for the cigarette lighter adapter's speaker when you install the 2610 in your car.

I am installing a navigator on an R1150Rt and it came with a retrofit kit power supply cable that has a pinned connector that attaches somewhere...anybody know where? Thanks, Bobbyk

I don;t even know what an RT looks like, so I can't be of much help on that one. That's kinda embarrassing to admit....That's one of them fancy go-fast bikes, ain't it???
