Anyone going to the Toronto Motorcycle Show this weekend at the International Center? I'll be there about noon on Saturday.

Yeah, I think I might go, but it will have to be Sunday. I'm picking my car up at the body shop Saturday because some shmuck backed into it December 23 while trying to parallel park his 3/4 ton 4X4 in front of me. At least I've got his insurance company paying for the damages.

Went to the show at the Metro Trade and Convention Centre in December. Lots of bikes to sit on and check out, almost everyone had shirts or other paraphenalia you could buy, except for BMW. This show wasn't worth the $15 admission IMHO.

I went on Sunday ... best M/C show I've seen !!

BMW had a great display including an '07 LT... plus the usual vendors looking to tempt you with lotsa their goodies...

BTW, I'm registered for Budd's upcoming suspension seminar Jan 17th, plus the one they call 'K night ' on March 25th. I don't know if they have any room left, but they're well worth going to. Hope to meet up with you next season.

The LT at the show was from Durham BMW and was a 2006. The sales guy said they were suppose to only be 2007's but that was all they had. Tell me more about the seminars.

I didn't notice it was an '06 but it still looked inviting !

The seminars are basically an opportunity to meet other guys who share the same interest with a chance to meet the wrenches in person and discuss tech tips and other topical subjects... I went to the one in Dec on basic winterizing tips and learned alot .. the upcoming one on suspensions promises to be very popular and from what I hear, it will be a full house ... the added bonus is the fabulous food they serve .. imagine eating carved roast beef with all the fixins in the grease pits amongst a great bunch of guys who love to talk about their loved ones :bmw:

Anyway, its a great night out and a chance to meet some new friends
