It was raining sideways all day so after getting my morning chores out of the way I jumped in the R1200GS-A Valve-train with both feet.

This is a link to my Blog (http://davedragon.blogspot.com/2007/01/r1200gs-adventure-valve-adjustment.html) on job.

This is a link to all of the photos (http://www.davedragon.org/Photos/BMW/R1200GS-A_VA/pics.asp). I'm adding text to each photo shortly.

Not a tough job at all, but the OVAD Document on AdvRider is only somewhat useful when doing the job on the R1200.

Also added two home-run accessory outlets (http://davedragon.blogspot.com/2007/01/added-two-new-accessory-sockets-to-gs.html).

Excellent! :D

Where does one purchase those plastic handled feeler gauges?

TIA

Good write up Dave, did you happen to check the throttle body sync? I understand that the idle sync is set by the "Moronic" but you still need to check the higher rpms.
