A friend of mine just bought a six cyclinder liquid cooled Kaw. I didn't know there was such an animal. Does anyone on this site know of any clubs, web sites, etc. for these bikes? Sorry I don't know more about the bike, such as year and model name.

If I remember correctly, they used to call those the Water Buffalo. I don't know of any clubs or owners sites. Google the model name and see what you come up with.

That is definitely a KZ1300. A Water Buffalo is a 70's era Suzuki 750, 3 cylinder, water cooled two stroke.

That motor was also in the touring bike, the Voyager 1300. It was a smooth running ride but it throught LOT of heat in traffic.

Hey all;
I owned a 1980 KZ1300 with all the trimmings. I put 45000 on that beauty with NO problems,none, nada, nothing. I loved that bike. Ran great, could corner thru to the pegs. Never got hot in traffic. At the time I lived in Vegas.
I can give you more specifics if you like. I think the only trouble I had was when it flooded in Vegas and I broke a clutch cable riding in deep water.
I dont know of any clubs, sorry. After 14 bikes that one is number 3 after my 2 BMWs.

The "water buffalo" was the Suzuki GT750 2 stroke water cooled triple. That was in the early to mid 70's. The Kawasaki may have gained that name later during it's brief production run.
